In this blog post, we will discuss how to cope with no-shows at birthday parties and share some tips on how to turn it into a positive experience. Read on to find out more!
Holding a Birthday Party for your son or daughter is not something that can be done in 5 minutes which is why it can be annoying when children that have been invited don’t turn up.
You spend ages sending out the invites, arranging a children’s entertainer, getting the cake, preparing the food and decorations only for some to spoil it for your little ones special day.
It is not hard to answer a party invite nowadays and many invites are done via email or facebook messaging so there is no excuse really not to reply to a child’s Birthday Party invite.
Magic Stuart has been to parties where children who have said they will be there have not turned up and it is just not fair on the child who’s party it is or the mother who has spent time and money on preparing for the party. You wouldn’t like it for your own little ones special day so don’t inflict it onto others.
There seems also a trend nowadays to turn up late for a child’s Birthday Party. If it says on the invite that the party starts at 3.00pm then for some reason people think its ok. to turn up 20 or 30 minutes later than the start time. Those that do will miss out on the entertainment provided for the Birthday Party, usually a magic show. It’s just very rude to turn up so late and even more so to just not bother to turn up at all.
For anyone who is organising a party you could put on the invites that the party starts 15 minutes before it actually will do to try and solve this situation but the main problem is with people themselves.
So the next time you get an invite for your son or daughter to someones Birthday Party please reply to it and try to turn up on time otherwise your little one may find they will get invited less and less to future parties..
